A Little About Me
I am an artist specializing in western themed pencil drawings. I have a bachelor's degree in Visual and Fine Arts, and have had my work exhibited in various art shows, including The Tehama County CattleWoman’s Red Bluff Western Art Show. Growing up in a small country town as the daughter of an equine veterinarian and an ex-three day event rider, I spent most of my childhood on top of a horse. Being brought up within the cutting horse community, often traveling from horse show to horse show, I really grew to appreciate the sport’s unique and special way of life. The cutting community is a small, tight-knit subculture that places an emphasis on family, patriotism, patience, hard work, and respect - all values I learned from a young age. As I grew older and began to explore my interest in art, all these ideals coalesced into one representative subject - the horse. Over the years, I have worked to combine my two loves - art and horses - into one cohesive passion that works to capture an appreciation of the animal, as well as share the western way of life that has shaped me into the person I am today.
